Partner blog

Partner Blog
 
My partner is a hard worker when she is working on or with a topic that she likes. Everyone is like that though, their is something interesting about working on a topic such as your favorite video game or movie when your in school. I guess it goes with that internal adrenaline rush you get from the fear factor of not being caught. Or the bad kind incense of danger that draws students into disobeying rules. The only other bad trait my partner has is a back bone. This is not always a bad thing but it can be difficult to work with a brick wall that is always willing to push you back and down.
In the end though you must stand up dust you self off and push right back just as hard that is the way you work with that kind of person.

Their are good things about my partner though. Example: She is just so nonchalantly blunt about questions that no sugar coat what so ever is even visible. So if our game was bad she said so if it needed work she said so. The last thing good about my partner is that she will work no matter what you say. If you say what she did you don't like she dose not care. And that is a greate thing cause if she argued with me and gave me a choice then their would be nothing getting done.

But in the end were all friends!

More time

More Time

If I had more time to work on my game I think I might have made it more personal. On a topic the I like such as art if that was at all possible. But I would add more detail, Sound and over all music. I am though happpy with what we have the game turened out better that what I had at first thought it would and I am pleased with. Although I can say the sound would have made a difference.

Difference

Game Difference

The difference between our game and game demo and our game is in one way we changed a whole lot. In the demo our game was called four reactions and had four small games you were able to play. We were not able to complete the final game so we removed it from the game. In our final game their were graphics that were allot more put together and over all the game felt as if it made greater understanding of the games as a whole.

Game progress

Our game progress so far has been slow however, we are finally starting to make some great progress on trouble shooting and fixing the glitches. Coding at this time is working against us but our second mini game is  going great and is almost done. In our third mini game we are hoping to do a basket ball themed platform, and in our Fourth mini game we are going to have a magician themed game which we are hoping just might creep out our players a little seeing how the last game is about tricks and applies greatly to Halloween.

Game progress

So far on our game we have completed one of the levels. The building synthesis game is now complete and we have started on destroying decomposition were the player must mark the deaths of animals in the national park. We have started on our other two game however, they are not finished. We were hoping for a magician themed game and a basket ball themed plat form game. We are not sure though how the plat form game will work with the code that we are using so we are crossing our fingers and hoping that it dose not glitch.

So far out game progress is slow we have been having multiple troubles with coding and decisions of what is best. Right now though the hard part is the fact we have one game for each reaction we have. We soon realized it would have been easier to have just chosen one reaction however, we are to far into this to turn back. We are making the best of our situation right now and are hoping to get our game done.

Game Progress

Game Progress

Our game progress has been very good this week. We finally decided what to do in our game and what the player will learn and how he our she will learn it. We have partly finished one game in our learning progress. We will have four mini-games in our big game. Thats what the whole progression of our game is, just one whole selection of smaller games, it gives the player a choice, a sort of freedom that they can find. Un-like just one huge single game where they will only be able to play a limited amount of martirial.

We have encountered some problems in our game, we actually had to have the wiki help desk help us with a coding problem. Which in the end fixed the problem but also opened up our eyes and caused us to take a completly different route.
