Game Progress

Game Progress

Our game progress has been very good this week. We finally decided what to do in our game and what the player will learn and how he our she will learn it. We have partly finished one game in our learning progress. We will have four mini-games in our big game. Thats what the whole progression of our game is, just one whole selection of smaller games, it gives the player a choice, a sort of freedom that they can find. Un-like just one huge single game where they will only be able to play a limited amount of martirial.

We have encountered some problems in our game, we actually had to have the wiki help desk help us with a coding problem. Which in the end fixed the problem but also opened up our eyes and caused us to take a completly different route.

Progress

 

Game Progress

Our game progress has been quite slow for the past few months. However, the speed has increased with the help of the wiki help desk. We had taken at least three days to get into touch with a user on the help desk but once we had our game was almost fixed immediately. We are hoping to use obstacle codes. Our problems consist of three major aspects. 
  1. Type of flash
  2. Wall codes tutorials 
  3. Glitches
The type of flash we used in our game needs to be changed in order for our code to work the right way. The wall codes are a problem only with the incorrect type of flash, but this is an easy change. Then last glitches, the glitches are the biggest problem. Once the game is fixed small glitches can occur such as, a newer button code that causes the button not to work, this is an easy fix but an annoying problem. However I am working with the help desk to fix this problem. Wish me luck!
