What it means to have a single story

What it means to have a single story is to think you know about a person in a place until you know every thing their is to know about that person.

 A story about your home town 

I have herd a story at my hometown the story dose tell about some parts of the town but not all the parts that make it what it is.

How Could people learn more about this town

I think if people come and visit it that they will become more enlightened and realize the good parts about it and might want to live here.

Tell about a story from another town you've heard

I have herd some stories about Gilbert I heard that it is a terrible place it floods every year and every year people loose their homes but I have also heard that it is a great place with tons of things to do and that their are beautypagents and parties. 

How Much did you learn from that story 

Not really much because of the changing tales. 

How could you learn more about that community

Go and take a vistit and read a book about it

How could a game let players experience many stories about a place or community?

It could give them a better visual idea about what it looks like and what kind of people live their if they can not visit.

  

Mini Game

Yesterday in globaloria we wrote a report on the tree octopus. It was very interesting and I didn't know if was real at first I thought it was a joke but our teacher was not joking about it at all still even though he was not joking the tree octopus is not real at all. Though some people think it is and I do not know why. First thing first we had to find a web site the site that I use was http://zapatopi.net/treeoctopus/. The 2nd thing we had to do was find out were it lived. 3rd we had to find out what it ate. 4th why it is endangered.

The next thing that we did in globaloria was the mini game project. During the mini game project we had to go over and review the mini game template. First I played the mini game that we were going to have to make. Next I became familiar with the codes that you have to put on flash in order to get the parts to move. Finally I reviewed  the way to get better pictures by tracing them then deleting the first layer which would be the starting picture.  

Playing to learn

The other day in globaloria we had to play games thats a pretty cool assignment in my opinon. We had to think about ideas we want for our games and play other games for ideas to. But the two games that I played were, WV animal rescue and Gulf coast bird rescue. WV animal rescue in this game you have to anwser trivia questions and pick out the bad habits of animal owners. In bird animal rescue you have to save all of the seagulls from the evil oil slik. In my game I would like to  add the feature of the water from WV Gulf coast rescue and the animals.  I have still not decided on what my game will be about.

Globaloria

Globaloria is going great I love this class soo much it is the best. It's sort of confusing considering I just got my account mine and my friend's Faith got stuck but it's okay now. I know how to change stautes I think that is how to spell it. In globaloria it is lound every thing is echoing with thoughts you can almost taste what their thinking. Though when it's quiet I have herd silence quite this loud so I pray for some one to speak. Their are no bitter sweet moments in globaloria but their are a lot of headackes. I love it anyway can't wait to learn more bye.
